Recently, Matt with Chesapeake Wash & Detail detailed my 2004 Boston Whaler 275 Conquest. The vessel hull and topside were heavily oxidized. I purchased the vessel 6 years ago and had several detailers detail the vessel but the end result was marginal. Matt explained to me the extensive cutting that would be required followed by polishing and sealing. It took 7 days to complete the task and what a finish. The boat was dull and chaulky and now it has a mirror-like finish. He keep me informed of the progress almost daily. He is very easy to work with and open to suggestions. I highly recommend Matt services. I plan to continue using Matt for future detailing. Attached is a before and after photo, what a difference .

I give Matt FIVE well earned stars. Over the past many years I was always very pleased with my DIY detailing results. However, last year I saw Matt's finished work on a few boats. My 1995 Donzi classic looks factory new! Even the 30 year old upholstery looks great.

My boat looks new ! I had a very faded blue hull on my 2011 SeaRay 280, and after assessing it, Matt thoroughly explained to me what it needed to bring it back to life. The multi step process was laborious and not cheap as he doesn't cut corners. But after Matt's high quality work, my boat looks great !! I would definitely tell you to call Matt and have him assess your boat so you can get your's back to looking new again !!!

Chesapeake Wash & Detail was so easy to deal with, quick to respond and the job they did was perfect. In fact, I drove right past my boat in the boatyard, because I thought that was a brand new one, not my 17 year-old Chaparral.

If you're looking for someone to spruce up an older boat, I can't recommend Matt enough. I had him work on my 23-year-old boat, which had heavy oxidation on the hull. Not only did he correct that, but the results were even better than expected, bringing the gel coat back to a nice shine. Right from the start, he walked me through what he planned to do, and the results inside and out were great. He kept me updated with photos and progress notes. His pricing is fair, and he stuck to the quoted time and cost. He’s also easy to talk to and made sure to accommodate any special requests.
